A "site" on the Clean Water Hub is a location where data readings are reported. It is simple to add/update information about a site once it has already been created, including changing the name, associating with an organization, updating the location, and more.

How to edit a site:

  1. Log in to the Clean Water Hub

  2. Navigate to the site you'd like to edit

    1. Click 'My Sites' at the top of the page

    2. Scroll down and find the site in the list of 'My Sites' or type its name in the search bar.

  3. Once on your site's page, click the pencil icon next to the name of the site. This will open the site's profile page.

  4. On a site's profile page you can add to/edit the site's information, including:

    1. Site name

    2. Site description

    3. Name of water source

    4. Water source type

    5. Site image

    6. Organizations

      1. Sites must be associated with an organization in order to allow for data reporting.

      2. To associate a site with an organization, you must first be a member of that organization. Learn how to join an organization here.

    7. Location

      1. You can update the location for your site by either A) typing in new latitude and longitude coordinates, or B) moving the blue dot to a new location on the map. Here are some helpful resources:

  5. When you have finished making edits to your site's information, double check that all fields are correct before clicking "Save Changes"

What sites can I edit?

  • Typical Clean Water Hub users can edit sites that they have created.

  • Organization Managers can edit sites that they have created AND sites associated with their organization.
